Does sterling silver tarnish?
A little tarnish is completely normal for 925 sterling silver, it's a natural reaction between the silver and the air, not a sign of poor quality. The good news is it's easy to undo at home. Gently buff your piece with a soft jewellery polishing cloth to lift the tarnish and bring back the shine, then wipe over with a microfibre cloth. Wearing your jewellery often actually helps, as the natural oils in your skin keep it looking bright.
Will sterling silver turn my skin green?
Solid 925 sterling silver shouldn't turn your skin green. That green mark usually comes from copper in cheap, plated or mixed-metal jewellery reacting with your skin.
